We have been informed by our lawyer Jose Miguel Villalobos that the window for appeal has been extended until August 21 due to motions filed by two investors for clarification concerning the award for damages they received from the court in their written decision of June 29.

The combination of those motions and several judicial holidays occurring in the interim, prolonged this extension to a full month, and as always, we are all paying the price for decisions by a few.

We can, however, take solace in the the fact that the right to request such clarification is limited to the first three days following the verdict, and as such, the chance that other filers can further delay the process with additional motions has expired and no further extensions lie ahead.
