Not Forgotten

 

 

Our UCCR mailbox has been filled lately with letters reflecting investor frustration because you have heard so little from us about our interpretation of current events and about our current activities on your behalf. The fact of the matter is that little has occurred since our last EBS messages were sent out. 

 We are still awaiting the release of the completed report from the apellate court, but it should become available any day now. The contents of this report will be of greater direct interest to Osvaldo than to us, except that the defense attorneys need the report before filing a request for a document certifying the innocence of OV on the charge of money laundering.

 The resurgence of the Milanes case has certainly created another dimension, which needs to be followed and studied as it relates to the situation of Luis Enrique. We feel that it is too soon to draw any conclusions.

For quite some time prior to the reappearance of Luis Milanes, we have been focused on the merits of a negotiated settlement between Luis Enrique and the government of Costa Rica. It would be premature to discuss any details because that could well violate the trust of those upon whom we depend for information and thus jeopardize the success of our initiatives.

 However, be assured that we share your frustrations and are well aware of our obligation to keep you informed.
