Entering the Final Phase

Trial Date Expected Soon

 

After the decision by Judge Castrillo of the Intermediate Phase was issued, the claimants whose cases were rejected by the judge were given time to appeal.  The defense chose not to oppose the few appeals that were filed, opting instead to move the process along and deal with them at trial.  That appeals process has now been concluded.

Today, the case file is being transferred to the trial date coordinating section of the court system.

As of this moment, the "Osvaldo Villalobos Camacho and Others" case officially enters the third and final phase of the process, the Oral and Public Trial.

The defense will present a plea for a speedy trial date.

We can expect to know the date of trial within a week or so.
