It is undeniably true
that in numbers, there is strength. At
a recent meeting of the UCCR board, we
decided to make a new effort to expand
our membership rolls as we near the
start of the Oral and Public Trial.
There are so many investors who have yet
to join our effort, some for simply not
being able to send what they consider to
be a fair contribution at this time.
Others became skeptical of lawyers, the
legal system, or our ability to succeed,
and for those or other reasons, have
been hesitant to contribute funds in
advance of any resolution. Therefore,
to remove these obstacles, starting
today, a financial contribution will no
longer be required to join UCCR.
Many investors have stayed silent
because they wish to keep their
financial affairs private, a position
that we respect and go to great lengths
to protect. In this regard, we can only
ask that you judge us by our track
record and our commitment to protect
your privacy, and then measure the value
that your membership could bring to all
of us. Join us and give us your
strength.
We have redesigned our membership form,
which can now be used to simply register
as a new member, make a current
contribution, and/or pledge a future
contribution, each a seperate action.
With this new flexibility, each of us
can tailor the level and timing of our
commitment to a common cause according
to our individual situation. Without a
doubt, the hiring of legal council to
represent us and our interests in the
courtroom remains our most important
decision, and is a priority that we
cannot afford to do without. Keep this
in mind as you complete the form.
The UCCR is the only organized group
that has voluntarily represented all
investors since our inception,
regardless of membership, and has
remained firm in the principal that an
expedited fair and public trial is the
only means of vindicating the brothers
Villalobos and regaining access to what
is ours. It is possible UCCR may be
called upon to help in an administrative
role in the future, and a stronger UCCR
will make it possible to meet those
challenges or fulfill any needed role.
We hope you will take this opportunity
to help one another in our common
struggle.
Help us grow our numbers and strength.
